At Preferred Builders of Watertown, we work together with our client-partners to make every project not only meet expectations but to exceed them. Unlike production builders who build houses from standard plans, we take the time to get to know our client-partners and work with them to create their ideal home. Attentive thought and intention go into every step of this process, ensuring no detail will be overlooked. And because of the trust we have built with our client-partners they can relax and enjoy the process without unneeded stress or worry, knowing we have their shared vision in mind.
Meet our Team
JASON JONES, President
After attending Watertown High School, Jason attended the University of Wisconsin-Platteville and graduated with a degree in Construction Management. He worked for Wausau Homes, Inc. gaining experience in Estimating, Material Purchasing, Scheduling, Sales and Project Management. When he was asked to relocate to his hometown of Watertown, he quickly realized an opportunity to become his own boss and became owner of Preferred Builders of Watertown in 1999. Since then, Jason has developed his interest in design as well as building new homes for his client-partners. Using a fully integrated CAD system to be able to show his customers their home before they commit to the building process is a huge advantage to his clients. Jason stays current with today’s building science, technologies and new materials through his associations with Professional associations that he belongs to such as National Association of Home Builders (NAHB), Metropolitan Builders Association (MBA) and Wisconsin Builders Association (WBA). Jason has helped hundreds of happy customers in Dodge, Jefferson, Waukesha & Dane counties realize their dream of building a new home.
AARON JONES, Field Superintendent
Key employees are the key to the success of many organizations. Aaron is no exception. Aaron ensures that the project that has been visualized by the client-partner materializes in the field through his keen eye for detail, expediting skills and craftmanship. Aaron has over 35 years of experience in construction and carpentry. Aaron’s passion for doing things right the first time ensures the delivery of our homes to our clients that meet and exceed expectations.
AARON ROESELER, Carpenter
Aaron Roeseler joined our team in 2023 after deciding that he wanted to work with his hands and learn a trade rather than pursue teaching. Aaron has a passion for learning new skills and comes to us with a wealth of flooring knowledge. His enthusiasm and energy keep all of us eager to teach and learn new skills. Aaron aspires of building his own home in the future.
